ROADies....

Uphhhhh....!!!

Finally the give and takes which we initiated a long back in 3-1 came to a happy ending with the words of "OK to tour" from our HOD. Mentioning himself to be a traditionalist, his positive academic intentions gave a negative impact on the tour. What reflects in this no-one-compromising issue is that we need to follow certain principles without the tiniest aroma of singular feelings.

Retrospecting, it all started long back in 3-1 when all of us had the bud of going tour for an industrial visit (see how formal I'm). Without a day gap, we were in front of our head with a proposal letter. He, being the new HOD then, has no idea of how to react with such a goddamn proposal. Of course, its our big mistake to put forth such proposal with many flaws and without a procedure. So, same came the result. Proposal rested in peace.

Just by thinking about the tour and by some dream construction business, we entered 3-2. That small bud was still growing big, though our first attempt was a failure. So, we made another try. With all the necessary amenities and by following procedures, we again knocked the door of our HOD. But this time, mid exams came straight our way. Another setback.

"Mids were shot down, Labs were fired and Externals were done. No obstructions to stop us from going to tour this holidays...." Such of our intentions were washed by Mini projects. One and a half month of the most valuable days for an engineering student (we think so) were consumed by projects. Though I loved being involved in them, I had some better plans to implement in those days.

Amidst of project, we again poked our head but off the record this time. Don't know what he understood, our intentions or our logic, he said to have it in the first weeks of our 4-1 academic curriculum. Our hearts sang out of joy with DTS effects.

Finally, the day came when we became the 4th years. By the time our 3-2 mini projects got finished, July wished us. Again the loop reverted as we took another modified proposal. To our greatest frown, his mind also looped back. Nothing less than disgusting. Pleadings started in both ways, logically and dil logically. At last, our prayers gave result. We got approval for 4 official days to have our Industrial tour in addition to some site seeing around.

Thanks and credits, all belong to our hearts which sustained almost everything without losing the smallest part of control.

We hit the roads on 14th of July and return on 18th, officially.... ;)
