What not in Engineering...?

Engineering (shortly, engg), as to my definition, is simply a life within a life.... Its a different world that we step into, after those two years of strenuous and hectic struggle. We anonymously get a strange feather like feeling while entering into an engg college for the first time. People slowly come to know about this life and hope this lasts long.

Now, I have some brief facets of this very tender life of four years. Apart from studying (of course, its the biggest sin of this engg life), let me retrospect all the various aspects of my life here.
  • My very first module is BUNKING, the king of all engg. activities. You never know how thrill it gives to bunk the college. No matter how good you study, how better you perform, ultimately, only bunking can give you the most and better way of happiness and satisfaction. Although it sounds against the normal culture, but there are certain incentives to it. Bunking a class can actually improve your performance and various other parameters as well. Here are 5 reasons on why should we break the rule and go out.
    • Independence. If you bunk the class, you feel independent of yourself for sure which helps for your better life ahead.
    • Improvement of performance. Teachers neither stop classes while you bunk nor repeat the class again. So, you think of your own to learn the concepts. So, you prove yourself to be an intelligent human but not a robot.
    • Rapport with teachers. Bunking always leads to loss of attendance. So, go to your teacher with your oral talent. Flatter them with your wits out. Not only for attendance, you can even try to make them float for your marks in mids and internal exams. Result is the much better rapport with your teachers.
    • Fun. The most obvious reason is fun. Increase your awareness by spending quality time with your friends.
    • Peace. Yes, you get peace. Rather than sitting in such disastrous and desperate class, you'll find peace in bunking them.
  • Linking up to the first is this second. PARTIES.... If you are a normal student, i'm sure you'll receive a minimum of 100 invitations in these 4years. Partying is the most common mode of enjoyment for engineers. Parties range from even the slightest thing to the most exciting moments. If a friend got a new cell, party. A new bike, party. A Girl, party. What not is the reason...? Every thing is a fuel to party....
  • POCKET MONEY.... The most important thing every engg student must have. It doesn't matter how much you get but what matters is how often you get. If your wallet is high, its high enough to become the king of the day. Most importantly, when some of your friends melt your wallet, that is when you start annoying and later on, it become one of your most cherishing moments.
  • LOVE LIFE is the most predominating experience of an engg life. You have sincerity in it, then you'll see its colourful future ahead and start working to flourish it. If you need a girl friend so as to show yourself as a status symbol, you'll have more and better options to find a pale-coloured one in a mob. But especially, chats, messages, late night calls, secret meetings are wonderful experiences for life.
  • I simply cannot forget mentioning the online activities here. Chatting, Pics, Comments.. everything is spicy, sweet, memorable and touching. This multi-dimensional, multi-tasted feeling reach the peaks when you actually tease your friend online, that too in a social network where half a million people watch your back.
  • Finally, every engg student end up at exams. Though they are pretty hard, we do enjoy them very much. Our preparation is similar to that of present-time cricket matches. As we see, there are more of One-Day Internationals and T20s, we do follow the same pattern. We start just a day prior to our exams (ODIs) and for mids, our schedule is T20 with a maximum of 3hour preparation. Though we study hard, last minute preparations are as usual. We simply call them PRE-PARESHAAN, rather than PREPARATION.... We love those tensions and so, we still practice the same through out our engg life....
We have happiness. We have sorrows. We have sweet. We have spice. We have confusions. We have crystal thoughts. We have everything in Engineering. What not...? We experience almost every tiniest bit of emotions and feelings here in this four-year life itself. Hope, earth turns back and get us to those good old starting days of engineering just to live it once again. As my heart felt, I'm now in the crippled old days of my engg life and I miss those young days of my life.... I'm gonna miss this life shortly.... :(
